Character Attributes

The following font attributes buttons are available through this palette:

• Roman: Click this button to make the selected text roman. This is the default font for HTML documents.

• Fixed-font: Click this button to use a fixed width font for the selected text. This is identical to choosing Format > Character > Typewriter.

• Bold: Click this button to make the selected text bold. This is identical to choosing Format > Character > Bold.

• Italic: Click this button to italicize the selected text. This is identical to choosing Format > Character > Italic.

• Strike-through: Click this button to place a line through the middle of the selected text. This is identical to choosing Format > Character > Strike.

• Underline: Click this button to underline the selected text. This is identical to choosing Format > Character > Underline.

  Note: The Netscape browser, versions 2.0 and earlier, did not display underlined text.

• Background and Text Color: Click this button to launch the Background and Text Color dialog. For details on the dialog, see the Background/Text Color Tool reference card.
